TUCKER WESTFALL MEMORIAL BASEBALL FIELD

Memorial Fund Donations - Used For This 1st Project

May 3, 2019 marked the dedication of the Tucker Westfall Memorial Field following nine months of work. Donations to the family following Tucker's  Memorial Service went toward refurbishing the Athens High School Baseball field.   The field was totally resurfaced, new dugouts, fencing, walkways, and scoreboard were installed.  This was a full community effort in terms of money donations, time, labor and materials contributed by Athens community families and businesses as well as other contributors across the state of Wisconsin.

The baseball team was on their way to a repeat State Baseball Championship when Tucker's accident happened.  The team and town rallied amidst heavy heartbreak to repeat as State Champions.  This field will serve as a legacy to the sport that Tucker loved so much. The flag featuring his beloved bald eagle will fly just below the American flag.  An eagle flew over the flags during the national anthem as the 2018 state championship game was being announced... Tucker was there to cheer on his team.

Note:  Memorial Fund Donations are used for special projects to improve Athens High School sports related fields/equipment/etc and are separate funds from the Scholarship Fund.
